Mental Health Outreach Support & Counselling

Our trained support worker provides free, confidential, community-based mental health support for community members. We use a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach to address issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and drug and alcohol use. We can help you access financial support, housing, and disability services and help you connect with more specialized services in the Comox Valley and beyond if needed.

To connect with our Adult Outreach Support Worker, please call (778) 585-4585 or email Lleilah.

We do not provide crisis services. If you are in crisis and need to talk to someone right away, please call the Vancouver Island Crisis Line at 1‑(888)‑494‑3888 (available 24/7).

Equipment Loans
Providing the equipment and supplies you need to recover safely at home.

Have you or a loved one had a recent injury or hospital stay? Do you need mobility aids or assistive devices to help during your recovery at home? Hornby Denman Health provides short-term equipment loans for commodes, wheelchairs, walkers, bath chairs and more. Our goal is to ensure Island residents have access to critical equipment when needed most and to help remove any financial barriers to accessing these items.

This program is made possible by the gracious donations of community members and some assistance from BC Gaming.
